Topcon DT209 Digital Theodolite
The Topcon DT-209 Series Advanced Digital Theodolite takes very specific angle measurements. This survey tool has a 2.5 second finishing power and 30x or 26x magnification options. For more systematic measurements, the dual axis compensation feature. The DT-200 offers dual display or single LCD display options. In addition, it features an easy-to-use five-button interface panel. To help get accurate measurements, this theodolite includes an optical drop. In addition, the DT-200 series offers a laser pointer option that has a range of 165 feet. The Topcon Digital Theodolite features reticle illumination which is great for use in low light environments. Can work up to 140 to 170 hours with theodolite alone and 45 hours using theodolite and laser. With an IP66 environmental rating, it is dust and water resistant.

Topcon DT-200 Series weathers any wet or dust conditions in the field, allowing for a more productive day during inclement weather. Degree of protection against water is based on the standard IEC60529, whose definition is “water projected in powerful jets against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects”.
All models are also compact and lightweight for easy portability; and their simple operation provides precise measurement in a functional, hassle-free package. The Topcon DT-200 Series allows for more than 140h of continuous measurement in the angle mode. This long battery life will eliminate the necessity for the replacement batteries on the job.
